The electric car-maker Tesla Motors, which has been in the forefront of innovation, is looking to offer new customers a secondhand electric car, as well as to give customers a refund for a second hand car.
The company says that its second-generation Tesla Model S electric sedan, the Model X, will go on sale in China for about $70,000, and it will be offered at two price points: the second-gen Model S Energi, for about 80,000 yuan ($10,600) and the second generation Model S P85D, for $65,000.
Both cars will come with a 20-inch touchscreen display, and both models will be priced between $90,000 and $120,000 in the United States.
The price of the second hand-car for the US is $120 the same as the second car for the Chinese market.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk told investors in September that the company has “many ideas” for new products and services, including a third-generation car called the Model 3.
Musk said the company could announce a second-quarter earnings report in March, but he did not specify when.
The first-generation Model S, which is powered by a single battery, is expected to go on Sale in April.
The Model 3, which will be powered by two batteries, will be released in 2020.
Tesla has a history of developing cars that are affordable for consumers.
Its first Model S sedan, launched in 2015, was priced at $70k and has been a favorite of people who want a new car at a low price.
The new Model S is expected be cheaper than the original Model S. The electric sedan was announced in October of last year.
